Second Year Environmental Science and Management Major
Annapurna is a sophomore at UC Davis and joined EPPC due to her interest in the intersections between environmental science and policy. Outside EPPC, she enjoys drowning herself in cat videos and cooking.
Fourth year Sustainable Environmental Design and Political Science Double Major
Ben joined EPPC because of his interest in how transportation and housing policy intersects with environmental sustainability. In the future he hopes to work on developing and advocating for legislation that makes cities less car dependent and more environmentally friendly, especially in California. In his free time Ben likes watching reality TV, going to the gym, and keeping up with international politics.
Third Year Environmental Science and Management Major
Emma is a second-year ESM major interested in minoring in GIS. Her passions lie in ecology and conservation as well as climate justice, and she is looking forward to applying her knowledge and interests to her EPPC commissioner position. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with friends and family and going rock climbing.
Fourth Year American Studies Major and Political Science Minor
Nic is from Folsom, CA. He is passionate about environmental issues affecting Northern California, especially the Sacramento area. Nic joined EPPC because he plans on pursuing an environmental lawyer career and would like to foster a deeper connection with the UC Davis community. Nic’s main emphasis lies with topics surrounding Indigenous American and environmental justice/injustice. In his free time, you will find Nic at the Rocknasium climbing gym, playing guitar, and volunteering with the Yolo Food Bank.
Fourth Year Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning Major
Piper is from Los Angeles, California. She joined EPPC in order to take a more active role in the sustainability efforts on campus. She hopes to help address the environmental issues that most impact UC Davis students. Piper also works at an on campus Peet’s. In her free time she likes to rock climb and hang out with her cat, Dice.
Fourth Year Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning & Managerial Economics Double Major
Kelsey is a 4th year focusing on public policy and business, with a plan to go to law school or consulting in the future. She hopes to work on education opportunities and outreach to promote sustainability on campus. She also enjoys reading and playing Mario Kart with friends.
Fourth Year Political Science & African American and African Studies Double Major
Meron joined the EPPC to become more involved within sustainability efforts on campus and to learn more about environmental justice and policy. In the future, she wants to become an environmental lawyer. She enjoys swimming, making collages, and reading.
Fourth Year Political Science and Human Rights Minor
Ivy joined EPPC because she is interested in furthering UC Davis's environmental justice and sustainability efforts. She is interested in how environmental policy affects people's everyday lives and in the future hopes to work for the EPA or practice human rights law. In her free time, Ivy loves to travel, hike, hang out in the Arb, and adventure with friends!
Fourth Year Environmental Science and Management Major
Annie joined EPPC because she is interested in making sustainable changes on campus to help Aggies. She is interested in creating sustainable systems for ASUCD, water policy and fish conservation. Aside from the EPPC, Annie enjoys block printing and thrifting!
