What is SSCF?
SSCF is a committee within ASUCD that is responsible for running a career fair to be held once a quarter at UC Davis that introduces more sustainability-based organizations to students. The committee strives to address the current lack of information regarding opportunities for students who wish to work towards a sustainable future. SSCF believe that it is important to highlight companies within the environmental field, and are committed to providing equitable access to environmentally-focused firms, nonprofits, and governmental organizations for students interested in environmental science, policy, and justice.
Green Chats is an interview series created by SSCF that features professionals in the sustainable and environmental fields answering questions about their career paths, job responsibilities, and giving advice to college students. Some of the organizations covered include the California Air Resources Board, California Environmental Justice Alliance, and the California Wilderness Coalition. The Green Chats interviews are posted to their instagram (@asucd.sscf).
