Chair and Vice Chair

Kelly Abey - Chair, She/her/hers

  • Fourth Year Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning & Sustainable Environmental Design Double Major
Kelly is from San Rafael, CA. She has been on EPPC for three years and loves how it gets her more involved in the Davis campus and community environmental efforts. She is interested in city and regional planning and landscape architecture. Kelly is also on the UC Davis Club Triathlon Team.

Daphne Crother - Vice Chair, She/her/hers

  • Fourth Year Political Science Major and History Minor
Daphne joined EPPC three years ago as she is interested in environmental policy and plans on incorporating more sustainability and environmentally friendly legislation into ASUCD. She has worked on the social media project, sustainability audit, and currently leads the Pouring Rights Campaign (PRC) against PepsiCo project. In her future, she will attend law school and specialize in environmental law. In her free time, she likes to go on hikes, sew, and visit national park.

Sriya Batchu, She/her/hers

  • Second Year Environmental Policy, Analysis, and Planning Major
Sriya joined EPPC to help make a positive impact on the UC Davis campus and is interested in learning more about Environmental Policy in general. In her free time, she enjoys reading, wandering campus and downtown, and procrastinating on her homework.

Meron Gebre, She/her/hers

  • Third Year Political Science & African American and African Studies Double Major
Meron joined the EPPC to become more involved within sustainability efforts on campus and to learn more about environmental justice and policy. In the future, she wants to become an environmental lawyer. She enjoys swimming, making collages, and reading.

Annie Kanjamala, She/her/hers

  • Third Year Environmental Science and Management Major
Annie joined EPPC because she is interested in making sustainable changes on campus to help Aggies. She is interested in the intersection of sustainability and environmental justice. Aside from the EPPC, Annie enjoys playing music for KDVS in the middle of the night and thrifting!

Kaitlyn Kwan, She/her/hers

  • Second Year Environmental Science and Management Major
Kaitlyn is a second-year ESM major with an interest in pursuing the Sustainability in the Built Environment minor. She joined EPPC because she loves nature and wants to help promote environmental sustainability within the UC Davis community. Kaitlyn is passionate about environmental education as well as sustainable transportation and city planning. In her free time, Kaitlyn is dancing, rock climbing, and exploring new places with friends.

Kelsey Meyer, She/her/hers

  • Third Year Environmental Policy, Analysis, and Planning & Managerial Economics Double Major
Kelsey is a 3rd year focusing on public policy and business, with a plan to go to law school or consulting in the future. She hopes to work on education opportunities and outreach to promote sustainability on campus. She also enjoys reading and playing Mario Kart with friends.

Piper Mills, She/her/hers

  • Third Year Environmental Policy, Analysis, and Planning Major
Piper is from Los Angeles, California. She joined EPPC in order to take a more active role in the sustainability efforts on campus. She hopes to help address the environmental issues that most impact UC Davis students. Piper also works at an on campus Peet’s. In her free time she likes to rock climb and hang out with her cat, Dice.

Lydia Rice, She/her/hers

  • Fourth Year Political Science Major, Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning Minor
Lydia is returning for her second year on the Commission and she is excited to continue working on environmental legislation to benefit our campus. After graduating, she hopes to work in state or local government as a policy analyst.

Emma Roginski, She/her/hers

  • Second Year Environmental Science and Management Major
Emma is a second-year ESM major interested in minoring in GIS. Her passions lie in ecology and conservation as well as climate justice, and she is looking forward to applying her knowledge and interests to her EPPC commissioner position. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with friends and family and going rock climbing.
